Well a little bit about me. I've always been into crafting at very early age as my mother was one amazing lady and she has been my sole mate and inspiration. I've been making homemade gifts since I was very young. When I was a teenage I would make all my clothes I had a new outfit for every Saturday night. My mother was very strict on my sewing so she taught me well. Her sewing and handcrafts were totally amazing. My mum made and iced Wedding Cakes, she made Wedding and Bridesmaids dresses and she would knit and sew for all her 7 children and grandchildren. She was always cooking, baking, preserving and freezing she never stopped. So this blog is dedicated to you Mum one amazing lady and fantastic roll model and inspiration to everyone.
I love card making a scrapbooking. Cards bring smiles to peoples faces and there's a card to everyone. I love creating my cards with wonderful embellishments and a little bling. That must be the Magpie in me but I do think it comes from my days of sewing and going through all of my mothers embellishments. I love ribbons, beads and buttons but lately on my cards when the opportunity knocks I love adding Roses to my cards. They are an elegant touch and can really dress up a card.
I only design for Sweet Sketch Wednesday design team Diva's which I totally love. I joined the team in June 2010 and have enjoyed every minute. I have been recognised in several online blog challenges Cupcake Challenge, Sweet Sketch Wednesday that's before I was on the design team and won numerous awards.
Life is so short so enjoy every little bit of it as you can. So when I'm not stamping, I love sewing, bead work, reading, and spending magical moments with my boys and my husband and our wonderful black cat Spike who is very spoilt.
I love to travel and have spent a lot of time overseas travelling when I was younger and now with my family. My favourite place is my beach house where I can totally unwind and relax it's like having a weight lifted off my shoulders when I drive through the gates when we get there and then I find it hard to come home.
