Cami Camomile

Welcome to my blog.  Well I feel summer has really past now up until last week we still had wonderful autumn temperatures at around 21c.  But during the weekend snow fell in the South Island and we had very cold wind and rain and yesterday it was 11c so the temperatures dropped 10 degrees in 24 hours.  I'll have to get me winter clothes out now.

Congratulations to our winner this week over at
Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 it was great work and I love looking at all your work and creativity.

This week we have another lovely sketch by Sally with two different sized circles under the square image on top.

Sketch # 90

Here is another look at my card also with a glimpse of the inside.  I used this really cute image from our sponsor this fortnight which is Lacy Sunshine Stamps.  I used
Cami Camomile Flower Pot Pretties.

This week our sponsor is Lacy Sunshine, I couldn't wait to create my card using my Lacy Sunshine image, all of Heather's images are just so cute.

Bio:
Heather Valentin  is  creative ,  award winning,  modern-day  fantasy and  whimsical  artist who has displayed a dynamic and vibrant energy while painting professionally for over 18 years.

She  began to express herself creatively through movement at a very young age.
For many years she studied dance, being drawn to forms that allowed creative self expression, all the while feeling this constant urge to create with her hands. The canvas is now her dance floor where color, beauty and drama are expressed through her every pencil sketch and  brush stroke. Her  subjects vary from fairies, fantasy, mermaids, vampires, dragons, wildlife, abstract and more. She is one who is inspired in a single moment. Her  dreams, moods and the the unfolding beauty of the world around her is what charts her dance for the day. She is most alive when sketching and painting, creating timeless pieces that reflect her heart and soul. Drawing breathes life into her soul- it enables her to reach out and touch lives. This gives her a place in the world one character and painting at a time.
Heather's  artist portfolio  has  expanded to include such  clients  as   Pepsi, Outback Steakhouse, Nabisco, Zephryhils  and can now be found  at Laguna Art, Third Stone Art Gallery and Sausalito Art Galleries, along with commercial and private collections across
the globe.
Her latest foray is to immortalize her popular drawn characters Eleanor and Pickles in a children's book of their own.

Neveah

Today I'm feeling a letter under the weather, I have a really bad head cold and a massive headache so I decided to craft and create a card instead.  The boys stayed in this weekend at Boarding School they were running a 12 hour relay by running a lap then the next boy,  which started at 12 noon Saturday until midnight.   Liam run 33km and Ryan 50km which is amazing.  Liam started two hours later than a lot of the boys as he had a Football away game and was late getting back. They were fund raising money for charity,  for schools that are a lot less fortunate than themselves.  The money raised will buy sports equipment.

I saw a colour Challenge over at Colouring Crazy and I just had to join in as these colours were so pretty together.  Also I purchased this image of Neveah a couple of years ago from Saturated Canary and have never used it, so thought this was a good opportunity.  I do hope you like my card.

Mouse Big Flower

Welcome to my blog.  What a great week with so many lovely entries it was so nice visiting your blogs.  Congratulations to our winner and to our top 3 cards.
This week I've made my card for my dear gardener Christine, she had to resign last week as she's been having trouble with her arm for about a year,  now she has to have an operation and stop doing the the job she loves.  Chris has worked for us for 12 years, she's just like a member of the family, my boys always ask after her as she's been at our place once a week for the last 12 years most of their lives.  I have a lovely gift to go with her card and we're going out to lunch tomorrow.

It's Wednesday here at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 which means we have another great sketch by Sally, it's really easy, it's something you can keep simple or bling it up with embellishments.

Sketch # 89

Here's some other views of my card.  I just love this image from our sponsor this week which is Bugaboo Stamps.  Perfect for a gardener.

This week we have one of our very favourite sponsors sponsoring us this week the wonderful Jodie Mackrell owner of
Bugaboo Stamps.
