Sunbathing Granny

Welcome to another wonderful Wednesday.  This week has been great I have my two boys home on a school break, not so good for them as it hasn't stopped raining.  Today is the first fine day we've had since they've been home.  We are now at the start of Spring but on Monday evening it turned bitterly cold and was snowing in both the North & South Island mountain ranges and today's a lovely sunny day.

Congratulations to our winner and top 3 from last week great work everyone.  Because it's the last Wednesday of the month week means we have a blast from the past with a twist.

Sketch #234
Blast from the past sketch.

The twist this month is
Incorporate something to do with Coffee, be it the digi, the colour...  the sentiment...  Think Coffee!!

This week I rotated the sketch something I don't usually do, but I loved this image and by rotating the sketch it worked perfectly.

Here is my blast from the past Sketch #234 posted on 27 November 2013 you can view the post here.

Good morning and welcome to another wonderful Wednesday.
We're half way through September already where has this month gone?  It only feels like yesterday that it was Christmas and now another Christmas is just around the corner about 98 days to go.
Thank you for all your wonderful comments this week and welcome to my new follower Darcy Schroeder.

Today is Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2, congratulations to our winner last week and to our Top 3 cards well done everyone.

This week Sally has another great sketch to work with and again it's very quick and easy and looks great finished.

Today I thought I would share a piece of Cross Stitch that I've been working on and had it framed last week.  As you can see it's a Christmas piece and looks stunning finished I'm so happy with it and it was stitched on cream linen  which was an 18 count cloth.  I'm currently working on another Christmas piece that being stitched on cream 14 count Aida Cloth.    I also have another piece at the picture framers at present so I'll also share that with you once I get it back.
